A MOUNTAIN QUILTFEST
The 16th Annual Mountain Quiltfest Quilt Show
A Mountain Quiltfest offers the unique opportunity to see not only creative quilts by highly talented quilters, but also to attend classes and lectures taught by some of the nation's most recognizable names. Organizers have made special arrangements for Quiltfest students to participate in a FREE shuttle service sponsored by FUN TIME TROLLEY which will continuously operate between all official Quiltfest sites and classrooms beginning at 8 am each day. Quiltfest is co-hosted by the City of Pigeon Forge, Piecemakers, and the Sevier Valley Quilters Guild. QUILTFEST | No matter what your quilt making level is, there is something for everyone at Mountain Quiltfest. More than 80 quilting classes are offered and start as early as March 9, 2010.

IMPORTANT | Registration is required for those who wish to fully participate in every aspect of the Mountain Quiltfest event. Web users interested in registering must do so on the official site for Mountain Quiltfest.

Registered participants enjoy a variety of Quiltfest events such as "Student Sneak Peak" and "Antique Bed Turning."
An official quilt appraiser willl be on hand. Participants may schedule an appraisal appointment with by contacting the Office of Special Events during normal business hours at (865) 429-7350.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR | All registered Quiltfest students can join the fun on Opening Night at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 beginning at 6:00 pm.

Instructors, vendors and sponsors will attend the event and answer your questions. Enjoy a special showing of quilts, and shop for unique items prior to the official public opening. This will be a be a special evening.
QUILT SHOW | Pigeon Forge’s own "A Mountain Quiltfest" is the official name of a quilt show.

"A Mountain Quiltfest" is a beautiful display of quilts from all over the country. Come and admire all of the hard work and creativity put in to these incredible quilts. Quilters compete in more than 10 categories for over $20,000 in prizes.
SPRINGFEST | Springfest marks the beginning of springtime in the beautiful city of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
It is a celebration packed full of nearly three months of home-spun fun. A few Springfest highlights:

NEW | The Soul of Shaolin! Direct from Broadway for a limited engagement, the Tony nominated Soul of Shaolin is a Chinese martial arts spectacular featuring the original 30-member Broadway cast!
ROD RUNS | Pigeon Forge comes alive with car shows, rod runs, and cruise-in events. The Spring Grand Rod Run is the main kick-off event in Pigeon Forge.
Pigeon Forge is a popular place to host large and small events featuring classic cars, trucks and motorcycles.

MOUNTAIN MUSIC | No matter where you go in Pigeon Forge, mountain music fills the air...from performers on stage to breakout jam sessions where everyone gets into the act. Music on the Square is a popular happening at Pigeon Forge's Old Mill Square. You will find several concert and theatre listings on our calendar of events.
